**Fixed-Term 6 Month Contract (Full Time/Part Time)**

We are currently seeking a focused, talented and driven Fixed-Term Reservations Agent to support the day to day of our reservations team.

As a Reservations Agent, you are responsible to take care of the daily bookings that are coming in, and making sure our guests receive a prompt responses to their queries. This will ensure that they are already enjoying our services even before their arrival.

**Some of your day to day tasks**:

- Complete daily checks to increase accuracy of reservations and to deliver quality experience to guests.
- Routinely book guest reservations for individuals and/or groups that are requested either by phone or from within the hotel; process cancellations, revisions, and information updates on changes.
- Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service
- Manage and investigate “no show” reservations, chargeback information and other reservation information where necessary..

**What we need from you**:

- At least 1-2 years of related experience including at least 1 year in the same role
- Opera system knowledge is an advantage
- Strong administrative skills, able to pay attention to details, excellent customer service etiquette
- A true team player attitude towards the team and flexible attitude towards a diverse set of tasks
- Excellent communication skills
- **Valid New Zealand Working Rights**
