**The Garden Hotel is on the lookout for its next Venue Manager to lead the team**

The Garden Hotel is one of the ‘IT’ hang out bars on Courtenay Place. This is the spot if you want to be part of the hum of Courtenay Place and enjoy brunch in the sun, a cocktail after work, and a wild night on the dance floor. We cater for it all.

This role is a very hands-on operational position requiring presence during key service times to ensure the team is performing in all areas of the venue. Balancing the need for speed, effective and thoughtful service with attention to the smaller details is our style. As a Venue Manager you will be creative and business driven while also working to develop your amazing team.

This will be no walk in the park, but it will be incredibly rewarding

- You will be a motivating and hands on leader
- You understand the difference between “customer service” and creating a fantastic “customer experience” - creating the feeling of manaakitanga in your venue, with your customers and with your team
- You will be energetic and enthusiastic with great communication skills
- You will be organised and great with time management
- You understand the numbers and have sound revenue generating ability
- Minimum of 3 years experience in hospitality with at least 1 years in a senior manager role
- And of course, from the compliance angle you will need your LCQ/GM Certificate
