**What will you be doing?**

As an** Intermediate** **Data Engineer**, you will be responsible for:

- Quality - Writing well designed, testable production code and production quality tests.
- Deployments, upgrades, configuration and documentation during the design and implementation.
- Providing quality support and assisting team with identifying root causes in support requests and identifying resolutions.
- Dealing with internal customers, external suppliers, as well as work in a collaborative manner with other Orion Health teams.

**What will you bring to the role?**
- **Experience**:You have 3+ years experience using the following or equivalent technologies: Spark, Python, SQL, Java, Data processing in Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL and AWS infrastructure and services.
- **Skills**:You possess technical knowledge in data engineering practices from development to deployment, covering data processing using Spark and SQL.
Business Acumen will be one of your key skills, with strengths in understanding commercial implications, standards, legislation and relevant solutions.
- **Characteristics**:Being proactive and delivery-focused, used to working at pace and will be persistent. You are a team player, well-versed in establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and able to adapt your communication style dependent on your audience.
- **Education & Qualifications**:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
