We are preparing to open our first warehouse in New Zealand situated in Westgate, Auckland. We are looking for customer service and marketing professionals to join our membership team as a Membership Supervisor.

Costco Wholesale is a membership-based warehouse club. You need a membership to shop with us and we need some bright stars to help the people of New Zealand to sign up and beat the rush before we open. Once we open, this team will transition into suitable roles within the warehouse operations structure.

**Daily tasks and responsibilities**:

- Enables smooth flow of members through the lines. Arranges register fund increases, verifies prices, overrides register system flags and corrects problems. Coordinates employee breaks, lunches, and side tasks. Asks for help from other departments when necessary.
- Carries out and ensures employee participation in Membership/Marketing Manager's plans for special promotions and increasing department productivity.
- Observes employee performance and paperwork to determine that proper department procedures are followed. Provides training, encouragement, advice and feedback to Membership employees. Assists in conducting job interviews. Participates in presentation of employee reviews. Upholds safety and security procedures.
- Provides prompt and courteous member service. Assists members with questions and problems regarding merchandise, membership, credit, and service.
- Assists Membership/Marketing Manager in administrative duties, such as scheduling employees, writing supply orders, arranging for equipment maintenance and repair, tracking employee errors, coordinating and tracking safety training.

**Non-Essential Functions and Tasks**:

- Assists with front end duties as necessary.
- Assists in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.
