We’re looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to join our growing Legal & Compliance team in New Zealand. You’ll support the General Counsel, collaborate with other Senior Legal Counsels, and lead 2 direct reports across a diverse, high-impact portfolio, from contracts and compliance to innovation, employment law, and privacy.

**Your day-to-day...**
- Lead high-priority contract negotiations and oversee contract management processes
- Provide legal and compliance advice across marketing, customer experience, product innovation, and new projects
- Advise on employment matters, workplace relations, IP, privacy, and data governance
- Monitor and manage legal, regulatory, and compliance risks — ensuring systems are effective and forward-looking
- Engage with regulators, industry bodies, and external stakeholders on key legal matters and reforms
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing legal team

**You're a match if you ideally have...**
- 8+ years PAE in commercial law (in-house or private practice), ideally in a regulated or tech-driven industry
- Broad legal expertise across commercial contracts, corporate governance, compliance frameworks (including AML/CTF), privacy, IP, employment, and disputes
- Strategic, solutions-focused mindset balancing commercial outcomes with legal and regulatory obligations
- Proven leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and time management
