AFFCO supplies the world with New Zealand’s finest premium beef and lamb products for all to experience and enjoy. We serve over 80 markets globally, supported by an operation which includes twelve processing plants throughout New Zealand.
Are you an entry level Systems Administrator looking for a varied role with the key focus of ensuring systems and services are supported? If so, AFFCO’s Head Office IT Department wants to hear from you
You will join a team of IT professionals working across a broad range of different systems and areas of the business. The team provides support for all aspects of ICT across all of AFFCO including user support, hardware and software deployment and servicing, server and network infrastructure monitoring and the maintenance, planning and installation of new systems.
**Reporting to the IT Manager, the Systems Administrator will be responsible for**:
- Provide support and assistance to other team members.
- Liaise with external parties for technical support, consultancy and advice.
- Ensure jobs are logged in our help desk system.
**Qualifications**
- Experience and understanding of IT systems relating to a business environment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Preferably a graduate with an education in IT/Technology.
- Experience in the manufacturing, food, or primary industries would be an advantage but is not a necessity.
