**Job Description**:
We are currently seeking a Rendering Operator for our Plant based in Horotiu, five minutes north of Hamilton. The Rendering Operator plays a key part in ensuring that the department is operating effectively. You will also work with the Rendering Supervisor to ensure any maintenance of the area is carried out in a timely and cost effective manner alongside implementing new systems when appropriate. Applicants with previous experience preferred, however training can be provided to those who are willing to learn.

Occasional call out and weekend/shift work will be required for this permanent position.

**Qualifications**:
The successful applicant will demonstrate the following:

- Relevant experience; preferably in a rendering environment. Experience in food manufacturing or engineering would also be considered.
- Organisational skills and the capability to cope with a variety of priorities and demands.
- Communicate effectively and work well within a team
- A good standard of computer literacy and administrative experience
- A strong commitment to Health and Safety
