Clinical Nurse Specialist, Renal Community Service

MidCentral actively seeks Māori into our workforce to reflect the community we serve.
Not one but two exciting opportunities have become available to join the **Renal Community Service / Home Therapies team**.
These are permanent full-time positions.
Holding the pre-dialysis portfolio, the CNS will work collaboratively with a team of experienced nurses working within the renal sub-specialties. This is an excellent opportunity to continue to build on the team's success, in making a difference to, and providing outstanding care for all our patients.
Key responsibilities
- Pre-dialysis assessment and education for patients with CKD
- Management of vascular access for patients needing dialysis
- Management of patients with CKD stage 4-5
It is essential that this Clinical Nurse Specialist has sound clinical knowledge of renal disease and previous experience in long term conditions patient care and management would be an advantage. The successful applicant will be part of the specialist renal nursing team maintaining a culture of excellence in delivering outstanding patient care.
