We are looking for multiple cooks and retail sales supervisors for our company Spice Plus in Hawkes Bay.

The positions are full-time and for permanent and ongoing duration. The hours will be between Monday to Sunday on a rotating roaster. The pay rates will be between 28 and 30 dollars per hour. There will be a guaranteed 30 hours per week.

Retail Sales Supervisor tasks
- ensuring that customers receive prompt service and quality goods and services
- responding to customers inquiries and complaints about goods and services
- Selling of food, other groceries to staff
- Carry out western union transactions for customers
- Training of junior staff and staff performance management
- examining returned goods and deciding on appropriate action
- taking inventory of goods for sale and ordering new stock
- ensuring that goods and services are correctly priced and displayed
- ensuring safety and security procedures are followed
- Serving customers and accepting payments
- Take inventory and restock the shelves

Cook Duties and Tasks
- taking and serving food and beverage orders, and receiving payment from customers
- preparing food such as hamburgers, pizzas, fish and chips
- washing, cutting, measuring and mixing foods for cooking
- operating cooking equipment such as grills, microwaves and deep-fat fryers
- cleaning food preparation areas, cooking surfaces and utensils
- ordering and taking delivery of fast-food ingredients
- may arrange delivery of prepared food and beverages

On-the-job training will be provided, however experience of 1 year will be desirable. The ability to work weekends and public holidays is a must along with early morning and late-night work hours.
