**The Opportunity**:
Citycare Property is in an exciting period of growth, and we are seeking a talented Bid Manager to join us on the journey. As the Bid Manager, you will play a crucial role in proactively supporting our business growth by managing all tender and bid opportunities and processes. Your focus will be on driving consistency, ensuring best practices, and collaborating with the Strategic Growth Team to facilitate successful business growth through the tendering process. You will analyse client requirements, identify unique selling points, oversee bid proposal development, and assess risks.

**The Bid Manager will focus on**:

- Manage all aspects of the tender and bid process, from initial identification of opportunities to final submission, ensuring compliance with all requirements and deadlines.
- Develop and implement a winning bid strategy by understanding client requirements, analysing competitors, identifying and communicating our unique selling points.
- Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams, Strategic Growth, Marketing, Communications and Operations to gather necessary information and develop comprehensive and accurate bid proposals.
- Assess potential bid risks, conduct risk analysis, develop contingency plans and mitigations to maximize the chances of success.
- Maintain the bid/tender library, ensuring template and attribute library consistency and adherence to organisational quality standards, brand guidelines, and values.
- Manage bid timelines, gate stages, and ensure on-time submission of all required documentation, coordinating across multiple bids to avoid resource conflicts.
- Continuously analyse bid feedback, identify areas for improvement, and implement lessons learned to enhance future bid proposals and increase overall win rates.

**Skills and experience required**:

- A background of experience in pricing and cost management within the construction, facilities management, or infrastructure industries, supported by relevant qualifications.
- Proven track record of leading successful tendering processes for construction and maintenance projects.
- Strong experience in senior stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
- Exceptional negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to influence outcomes.
- Successful history of identifying and capitalising on immediate revenue opportunities.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans for sustained business growth.
- Ability to tackle complex challenges with creative and innovative solutions.
- Advanced proficiency in relevant presentation tools, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
