Our latest addition, Sudima Kaikōura, is a new 4.5-star hotel on the esplanade of Kaikōura's waterfront, conveniently located at the end of the town centre. The hotel has spectacular 360 views of the seaward Kaikōura mountain range, waterfront and peninsula and proudly presents large scale, local Māori artwork throughout the hotel, with a high quality fit-out, 120 well-appointed rooms, restaurant, bar, conference facilities and infinity pool.

**About The Role - Te mahi**

We are looking for enthusiastic Front Office Duty Managers, who know how to get the best out of their team and lead from the front by setting and providing the highest levels of customer service. To be successful, you will have experience in a similar role, a passion for exceeding guests' expectations, demonstrated operational leadership and organisation skills, and a passion for manaakitanga - providing great hospitality.

The primary objectives of this role are to oversee operational matters relating to the hotel, deliver exceptional guest experience, problem solving in a timely manner and provide outstanding customer service.

**Responsibilities | **Ngā haepapa**
- Manage the hotel whilst on shift and when senior managers are not present
- Ensure all complaints are dealt with appropriately
- Ensure a smooth check in and check out process whilst on shift and ensure VIP guests are acknowledged appropriately
- Attend to any emergency situations including security, maintenance, fire or evacuation
- Communicate professionally and effectively with all hotel departments, teams, senior leadership and external stakeholders
- Ensure Health, Safety and Hygiene Standards are being met and reported as per policy

- Full Drivers License
- Valid Right to Work in NZ
