It's not very often something happens that's big enough that it will touch the lives of every single person in the motu. That's what we're talking about here. The provision of health services in Aotearoa, and how they are delivered, is changing in a big way.
Te Whatu Ora-Health New Zealand and Te Aka Whai Ora-Māori Health Authority will together shape the delivery of health services in Aotearoa for generations to come and will form the core of a modern and integrated service looking after the needs of all our whānau. Te Whatu Ora is ‘the weaving of wellness'. Whatu is the combining together of people, resources, organisations, thoughts and actions for the betterment and wellbeing of all. Whatu is also a direct reference to the pupil of the eye, and the vision required of the new entity and system. Join us in this mahi...
Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
The last few years in National Digital Services have been busy ones. New cloud native solutions have arrived in large numbers, along with ways of working and toolsets that are moving us forward at pace. Alongside this run opportunities for us to modernise and migrate some of our older services to cloud, and to improve security, reslience and performance.
We need experienced cloud engineers with a passionate interest in technologies including platform operations, cloud native networking, CI/CD, container orchestration, Infrastructure as Code, real time monitoring and integration to name but a few.
You'll be playing a big part in helping grow our people, so a teaching mindset and coaching experience would be a real advantage. Also, we routinely partner with our business colleagues and vendor community to achieve the best results, so confidence dealing with people from a range of perspectives is essential.
Our work is challenging but also meaningful and deeply satisfying. The team environment reflects our strong commitment to each other and to our customers. We're on an upward trajectory both in terms of capability and capacity, and we need people with the right stuff to lead and expedite our growth.
