The Role
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will join an organisation who encourage creativity and innovation and present you with the opportunity to bring new ideas to the table. This position will be instrumental to the future success of the organisation by building and maintaining both existing and new relationships with clients. You will enjoy working autonomously with the support of a fantastic team and have a real hands-on impact on the growth and development of the company.
You will be in possession of the sales skills required to bring new business opportunities to fruition, and the communication and relationship management skills to cement lasting partnerships.

**Key Responsibilities Include**:

- Create and develop long lasting relationships with both current and potential customers
- Develop a rapport with prospective clients and maintain regular contact during various projects
- Maintain sales volumes by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, industry changes and competitors
- Establish and comply with sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales targets
- Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies and programs to capture key demographics
- Develop sales packs and promotional material for prospective clients
- Arrange face to face meetings with customers to discuss product range and showcase offerings

**What we are looking for**:

- Proven experience in a similar position and industry
- Knowledge of building/construction scaling (foundation metrics, square metres etc.) is essential
- Knowledge of current legislation including council and government guidelines
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- The ability to operate calmly in a high-pressure environment and ability to adapt to change
- Highly organised and process driven
- Comfortable using own initiative and taking ownership of processes
- Resilience and drive to see out projects until the end
