Maturity Support Team Leader

**He aha te mahi? What’s the role?**:
The Maturity Clearance Support Team is responsible for managing and maintaining the Maturity Clearance System (MCS) as well as supporting postharvest and growers through the harvest period with any maturity related queries.

As the Maturity Support Team Lead, it is your responsibility to manage the various robust processes put in place for the administration, support, and management of the Zespri Maturity Clearance System, the support team and the processes that relate to it.

The core responsibilities of the role will include;
- Overseeing the day to day operations of the Maturity Support Team.
- Overseeing the day to day operation of the Maturity Clearance System including Incidents, Enhancements and Season Rollover responsibilities.
- Being the MCS Team lead contact / advisor to Qrious system developers
- Managing the distribution of workflows between the Maturity Support Coordinators and provide leadership and a mentor responsibility to these roles.
- Proactively identify and assess Maturity Clearance process or system issues that will impact industry functions and recommend solutions to ensure continuous improvement and customer (industry) satisfaction.
- Resolve escalated queries requiring system administration expertise, or other more technical and/or sensitive issues that do not require third-party escalation.
- Administer MCS Service Provider invoicing and associated financial activities

You’ll have a strong customer focus with a “can do” attitude, and will meet the following selection criteria:

- Minimum 2-3 years customer service experience.
- 2-3 years’ experience in management of staff.
- Experience with databases (e.g. SQL, SAP, Oracle) preferred.
- Highly developed computer skills (Word, Excel, CRM).
- Kiwifruit industry maturity clearance knowledge strongly preferred.
- Ability to manage teams remotely.
- Understanding of Zespri’s global supply position.
