**About the Role**

As a Team Leader in Secondary Butchery at our Pareora site, you will be responsible for providing operational support to your team on the floor by proactively supporting them to meet their daily production requirements, as well as observing and monitoring quality and safety compliance. With the support of the leadership team, you will have the chance to drive continuous improvement initiatives and grow your career with a range of development opportunities.

This is day shift position, so the successful applicant will need to be available Monday to Friday; approx. 5.30am
- 3pm, with Saturdays overtime as required.

**Te Mahi /Key Responsibilities**:

- Communicate what food safety, quality and compliance requirements are specific to your team and actively observe the chain to ensure these are maintained at all times
- Train and coach members of your team to understand what specifications and production targets mean and how they relate to the team member’s work
- Organise daily production requirements in conjunction with your manager and clearly communicate this with your team
