Senior Supervisor

**About the Role**

The Group Leader is responsible for the operations, performance, and safety of multiple teams within their area of responsibility. This role is essential in delivering warehouse & distribution activities and balancing that with the team’s individual needs, development and expectations.

Some key responsibilities will include:

- Train, coach and mentor members of your team to achieve departmental goals, maintain compliance and assist them with growing their careers.
- Plan weekly/daily work requirements in conjunction with the Senior Group Leader
- Build an uncompromising safety culture within your team
- Champion continuous improvement and encourage team members to find new ideas to improve work practices

**About You**

We are looking for someone who is able to step up into a Departmental Manager’s role within the next 2-3 years and has a drive to succeed.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in warehouse/distribution/export loading in a leadership role
- Comfortable with change management principles and how to best include your team in this process
- Leading teams within a continuous improvement environment
- Proficient computer literacy including WMS systems, RF scanning and the MS suite
- Demonstrate the ability to identify talent, mentor and develop leaders within the department
- Solutions focused problem solving in a fast-paced environment
