We’re looking for a **Senior Group Leader** to take charge of the Animal Assembly department at our Pareora site. This is a key leadership role where you’ll oversee the entire shift, ensuring everything runs smoothly—from production targets to health and safety, quality, and compliance.

You’ll be the person who sets the tone for the team, drives performance, and keeps things moving. Strong leadership is essential—we need someone who’s confident managing a large department and passionate about building a positive, high-performing culture.

- Lead and inspire your team to hit daily production targets while creating a great team environment
- Review performance, troubleshoot issues, and work with leaders to keep things on track
- Build a strong safety-first culture—no compromises
- Champion continuous improvement and encourage fresh ideas to make work better

** Ōu Pūkenga/**About You**

You’re an experienced leader in the meat processing industry (or similar) and know what it takes to run a busy department. You’re great at building relationships, coaching your team, and leading by example.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

- Proven experience in a senior production leadership role, ideally in food processing
- Skilled in training, coaching, and mentoring team members
- Ability to influence and drive a strong, positive culture aligned with our values: Unstoppable Together, Improving Tomorrow, Always Caring
- Solid understanding of employee relations and workforce management
- Strong knowledge of regulatory and hygiene compliance
- Confident using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
