**About the role**:
As our Legal Counsel, you will research and make recommendations to MEGA in relation to rapidly evolving local and international privacy and internet compliance that affects MEGA's developing suite of products as well as our users. Part of a global team, you will report to our General Counsel and Compliance Manager.

You will make an impact by:

- researching new legislative and compliance developments within New Zealand and globally
- managing our trademark registrations
- maintaining company secretarial records, ensuring all statutory requirements are met for our group companies, drafting procedural director resolutions, and managing any share transfers
- reviewing all new supplier and collaborator agreements and maintaining a register of contracts
- assisting with the drafting of internal policies
- supporting the General Counsel and Compliance Manager with projects as required.

**About you**:
You bring a passion to the work you do and succeed in complex legal matters.

You are able to work at pace while engaging and collaborating with diverse teams across the globe.

You have:

- experience in the Tech or Telecommunications industry
- excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- strong computer skills across the MS Office Suite.

**Qualifications**

You hold a tertiary qualification in Law with at least 3 years PQE.
