**FUNDING MANAGER - SHAKTI COMMUNITY COUNCIL**
Funding managers are responsible for managing the flow of funds into and out of the organisation. They work with investors, donors, Government departments, charitable organisations and trusts to ensure that their organisations have access to the funds they need to operate.
Funding managers may also be tasked with identifying new funding sources or ways to improve existing relationships with donors, investors, and funding organisations. This might include developing new products or services, conducting market research, or creating presentations to pitch potential donors and investors on why they should contribute to your NGO.
Shakti is looking for a Funding Manager to continue the foundation relationships currently in place for their organisation. - Reviewing monthly statements to make sure that all transactions are accounted for and reporting on those commitments
- Ensure that reports - narrative and financial -- for funded programs and services are secured and submitted to funders
- Screening potential funders to ensure that they meet the organisation’s financial goals and ethical standards
- Coordinating with external financial advisors to ensure that all financial requirements and compliance standards are being met
- Creating a long-term service plan and financial plan to forecast funding needs based on expected revenue increases or decreases
