**Reporting to the Head of Data & Digital Workplace, your key functions will include**:

- ** Data Migration**: Lead data migration efforts, translating business needs into sustainable solutions using SQL and SAP (Snowflake & Syniti).
- ** Delivery & Leadership**: Oversee a team of data professionals, driving a high-performance culture and prioritising key outcomes.
- ** Stakeholder Engagement**: Bridge the gap between business and technical teams, simplifying complex data challenges for various stakeholders.
- ** Policy Development**: Establish and enforce data management policies to enhance quality, protection, and privacy.
- ** Data Governance Strategy**: Design and implement a governance framework that ensures data integrity, business alignment, and compliance.
- ** Regulatory Compliance**: Maintain adherence to data privacy laws, mitigating risks and safeguarding organizational reputation.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- A proven track record in managing data migration projects, including cleansing and conversion strategies.
- Experience in implementing data pipelines across diverse tools and environments.
- Strong understanding of data structures and processes within retail.
- Skilled in establishing data standards, policies, and procedures to drive governance.
