**The Role**

We are looking for exceptional Senior Test Analysts who LOVE testing and getting involved in complex and exciting projects. As a senior test consultant your focus will be on helping clients succeed and delivering world class software to our clients.

We take a human-centred approach to everything we do, co-designing the right outcomes with our clients.

Your role will be to lead all aspects of the QA testing for the project lifecycle, understanding the test criteria and defining appropriate test procedures while ensuring all testing is done in accordance with project timescales, reducing delays with effective and efficient practices.

The projects we work on are varied and complex. In a typical engagement, you will be working with other Assurity test consultants - so will be part of a team. You will have the support of an organisation behind you, so if you ever encounter a challenging problem, we’ve got your back.

**About you**

You will be comfortable engaging with stakeholders across all levels of the business, using your excellent communication skills to ensure quality software is developed and delivered for our clients.

Using consultancy skills to influence outcomes with key stakeholders, you will have a passion for problem solving and an innate curiosity which will help ensure our clients digital solutions are fit for purpose.

Able to plan, design and deliver great testing outcomes utilising testing techniques and tools, you have hands on experience learning new technologies, and aren’t afraid of a challenge.

In addition, our STA’s:

- Have experience working in both Agile and traditional testing teams.
- Work collaboratively with their Test Manager and team to achieve great customer outcomes.
- Are able to provide realistic testing estimates and lead the sizing of pieces of work.
- Have excellent written communication skills and be able to produce quality test documentation including test plans, bug reports and test summary reports.
- Use techniques such as visual models, mind mapping and specification by example (SBE)
- Are confident working across varying software methodologies and working to timelines.
- Are experienced in working throughout the different stages of the software development lifecycle, from system and integration testing through to user acceptance.
