**Location**:Palmerston Nth, NZ- At DKSH we are looking for a highly motivated and driven individual to take on this role reporting to the Director of Country Finance NZ.- This is a key position within our Performance Material (PM) business unit (BU). Responsible for preparing and presenting clear, timely and accurate financial information to support business’ decision-making. This is a true accounting role. You must be astute at your craft, able to work inside the business, understanding the mechanics of what makes this BU what it is, and prepare financial reports accordingly.- This is a

**Key Responsibilities**
- Monthly management reporting and commentary
- Variance analysis
- Preparation and ownership of month-end closing and assisting with year-end statutory reporting
- Support the physical stock take process
- Facilitate and prepare annual budgets and forecasting
- Assisting with external auditors
- Tax matters and ensure timely filing and compliance with tax regulations
- Managing the weekly cashflow
- Approval function relating to specific workflows
- FX and treasury matters
- Partnering and supporting the wider business
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives
- Support finance related strategic initiatives working with other BU controllers locally and globally

**Skills and Experience required**:

- A Degree in Finance, Business, Economics or Accounting
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Finance
- Experience in a multinational company
- Planning and budgeting
- Project management
- SAP FI/CO knowledge (must have)
- SAP BW and HFM Hyperion (good to have)
- Strong MS-Excel knowledge
- Integrative and able to work in virtual projects
