Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

We're looking for a motivated Business Manager who knows how to sniff out opportunity and turn conversations into customers. You'll manage a strong portfolio of existing clients while actively prospecting and networking to bring new business into the fold.

You'll collaborate closely with our wider operations team to uncover leads, problem-solve for customers, and develop creative, profitable solutions, all while delivering exceptional service that keeps them coming back.

Travel around the region (and the occasional overnight) is part of the territory.

You're a natural connector, someone who enjoys getting out, meeting people, and representing your brand with confidence and credibility.  You understand that great sales aren't about pressure, they're about partnership, listening, adding value, and delivering on promises.  You'll be the kind of person who doesn't wait for leads to land in your lap, you go out and find them.

You'll combine that with

• 4+ years of proven B2B sales experience
• A track record of success in both new business development and account management
• The ability to strategically plan your territory, identifying and prioritising opportunities that deliver growth
• Confidence in networking across the region and leveraging relationships to open doors
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, you know how to read the room, build trust and close deals that last
• A proactive mindset and the motivation to work autonomously
• A full, clean driver's licence
