We're looking for a dynamic individual to join our team part-time as a Barista / Front of House staff member at our Cafe & Bakery in Browns Bay.

As part of our team, your responsibilities will include:

- Accurately taking customer orders and processing payments over a POS system.
- Preparing professional quality beverages using a commercial coffee machine.
- Preparing and serving cafe style food and drinks to customers.
- Cleaning and maintaining cafe and equipment including but not limited to coffee grinders, espresso machines, convection ovens, display cabinets and counters.
- Must be passionate about coffee, creative and have excellent presentation skills
- You may be required to sell bread and patisserie items from the bakery.
- Answer the bakery telephone and fulfil reasonable customer requests as required.
- Clearing away used dishes and cutlery from tables when customers are finished.
- Cleaning and preparing tables for use.
- Washing and putting away dishes, cutlery and cooking utensils.
- Receive deliveries and assist in putting away new stock.
- Must enforce proper steps to ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements.
- May be involved in cost control, ordering and purchasing.
- Assist other staff members when required.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
