**About the Team & Role**

Our Product Team is led by **Leonie Wise**. Leonie is an enthusiastic and engaging leader who empowers her team so our product continues to help everyday people access the financial system while limiting criminal exploitation.

We love to collaborate - With a dedicated Product Manager and Designer assigned to an engineering team. This way of working creates a great team environment where it nurtures our passion of delivering an exceptional product.

**Some of the tools we use**

We currently use Figma and Storybook. We use Miro for collaborating and encourage lo-fi (pen & paper) for sharing early ideas and Notion for documentation.

It would be great if you had experience using these but if not that’s ok by us. At First AML we foster an environment where everyone can learn and grow; we’d be more than happy to share our wisdom with you and would like to learn from you too

As **Senior UX Designer you** will be trusted with the autonomy of working on larger projects and feature work. This means that you will create designs that not only deliver what is expected from the project / feature requirements, but extends beyond them by leveraging interactivity, creativity & experimentation.

**You will also**
- Actively support other designers in the team through the use of peer reviews at various stages of the design process.
- Collaborate end-to-end across every project with product managers and engineers, taking your team along the journey, and maintaining cohesion through communicating relevant information upstream and downstream
- Be expected to contribute more to the continuous improvement of our tools, process and culture

**Desired Skills and Experience**

**About You**:
**You may be a good fit if you**:

- Have 5+ years experience as a Senior UX and UI designer, working on a SaaS product
- Have the experience (or desire) to build and scale a design practice and build the profile of UX within a global company
- Love to simplify complex user/interaction problems and help colleagues inside and outside the design team to see the value of excellence in design and putting themselves in the customers’ shoes
- Enjoy the impact you can have working in small teams and value the collaboration they bring. You believe great products come from great teams.
- See an opportunity for growth in the things you don't know, and you’re okay with sometimes being a little out of your depth
