We are looking for a Team Leader to become part of a high performing leadership team at the Centre for Applied Science & Primary Industries, Wintec - Te Pūkenga.

**About the role**

Based at Wintec - Te Pūkenga's Hamilton Rotokauri campus,you will be part of leading change improvements to modernise and improve both business processes and teaching practices.

In this role you will be responsible for leading the Animal Technology teams in AnimalCare, Rural Animal Technology and Veterinary Nursing towards high performance.

You will be managing the day-to-day academic activities of your teams of tutors and overseeing the operation of Wintec’s clinical and surgical veterinary teaching clinic, ensuring resources are in place for a quality learning environment.

You will be able to demonstrate a high level of capability in developing a strong team environment by coaching, supporting and guiding staff to develop their professional knowledge,relationships and skills as a high performing team.

Maintaining productive working relationships within the Centre and across Wintec will be imperative. You will be innovative in your approach to operational efficiency, creative with problem-solving, highly resilient and flexible to accommodate and manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.

- Have knowledge or experience of business improvement or the tertiary education sector
- Be committed to teaching excellence and innovative teaching practices
