**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**
We have a fixed term, full time opportunity for a Practice Supervisor role covering the Physiotherapy Medical team. Our Physiotherapy Medical team covers Respiratory, Cardiothoracic’s, Cardiology, acute medical, ED, Oncology and Haematology.

This key role reports directly to the Physiotherapy Clinical Lead and is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist wanting to develop their leadership and management capabilities. This is an opportunity to advance your skills in:

- **Implementing evidence based practice and service development**:

- **Motivating, guiding and developing staff**:

- **Clinical leadership**

In this role you will carry a clinical caseload while providing day to day coordination and leadership for a team of approximately 12 physiotherapists. You will play an active role in staff and service development.

**Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills**
As the ideal person for this role you will have the following skills and attributes:

- New Zealand Registration and current Annual Practicing Certificate from the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand
- Minimum 7 years post-registration experience
- Experience working in a complex environment and within multi-disciplinary or inter-disciplinary teams
- Leadership and management training with proven supervision, mentoring, coaching and leadership skills
- Experience providing adult teaching and knowledge of appropriate educating skills
- Organisational, time management and clinical priority-setting skills
- A commitment to achieving equitable outcomes for Māori
- Knowledge of quality improvement principles and processes

The remuneration for this position is covered by a collective agreement (PSA Allied, Public Health Scientific Technical MECA)

Salary Range: Step 10 $89,701 to Step 14 $107,449 (D.O.E)
