Product Design Lead
We are an integrated design + technology studio.
We’re united by our love of technology and its potential for making lives better. Some of us are big picture thinkers, some of us creatively driven. And some of us love nothing more than deep diving into a thorny technical challenge. But we’re all human, inspired by human stories and driven by a desire to create human-centred experiences.
Love making things for people to enjoy? Join the team designing the technology that matters.
**About the role**:
As the Product Design Lead, your guidance will be essential to our design chapter, and you’ll work directly under the Design Director. Partnering closely with our product and tech maestros, you'll be the driving force behind creating groundbreaking customer experiences that not only delight but also redefine the norm.
A typical day might see you:
- Engaging closely with clients, tech leaders, and product chiefs to weave solutions that tick every box: user delight, technical feasibility, and business viability.
- Harnessing both qualitative and quantitative insights to shape and streamline your designs.
- Ensuring the client’s objectives are met by adeptly planning, facilitating, and synthesising design processes.
- Being a player coach. Supporting and inspiring Digital Product Designers in Delivery Teams to create the best possible outcomes for our clients
**About you**:
- Showcased 8+ years of expertise in a dedicated digital product design role, including design leadership.
- Built an impressive portfolio, highlighting standout digital design projects with notable outcomes.
- Navigated cross-functional collaborations, especially with Product and Engineering, turning challenges into success stories.
- Demonstrated excellent communication, whether that's penning down thoughts, addressing a room, or leading a virtual team chat.
**What you bring**:
- An insatiable curiosity for design, technology, business, and people is at your core.
- You’re a natural team player, always seeking ways to uplift and inspire those around you.
- When you commit, you deliver. Every time.
- Personal growth, honing your craft, and boosting your team are constants on your journey.
**What matters to us?**:
Put people first - It's about the people, not the tech.
Push the boundaries - Who wants to do what's been done already?
Play the long game - We create sustainable solutions, not quick fixes.
Say it like it is - Life's too short for miscommunication.
Live for the RUSH - Nothing's more exciting than the rush of doing and discovering.
**What matters to us?**:
Put simply, our office culture is awesome
We have a start-up buzz with lots of social events, we have cake days, fruit days, lunch put-on frequently - we have a lot of fun together. We also invest in your ongoing training and development with regular goal-setting, group training, lunch and learns and personalised development plans.
**Life at RUSH**:
We love our work - but we also value our vibrant office culture. From social events to training sessions, life at RUSH is about growth, connection, and enjoying the journey. If you see yourself in this role and are ready to bring your expertise to RUSH, we'd love to hear from you
