With flexibility to be based in Hamilton or Tauranga, the Technical Sales Manager is responsible for our Cassette Flooring's continued sales growth across Waikato and Bay of Plenty.

**The Role**
This role is ideally suited to a technically competent salesperson with building industry experience, architectural or engineering background. CARTERS has great customer relationships and reputation in the market to enable the Technical Sales Manager to drive new business. Your technical aptitude combined with your passion for sales and meeting targets will see you:

- Liasing with builders, architects, engineers and developers around design and pushing new innovative solutions
- Visiting large scale customers to identify opportunities for growth
- Interpret architectural and engineering plans and understand how these relate to onsite construction
- Understand Customer's build programme and how we can accelerate this
- You will understand the value of price and margin in building a profitable business
- Demonstrate strong commercial acumen together with the ability to quickly adapt to market requirements and learn a new industry
