We are looking for a professional and experienced Legal Support Manager to lead and manage the people and operations for the Legal Support, Client Centre and Service Centre teams in our Wellington and Christchurch offices. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a team of 20+ support staff and put your own stamp on the role, supported by our national team.

**Key Responsibilities**

On a day-to-day basis, the Legal Support Manager will:

- Manage the operations for the Legal Support, Client Centre and Service Centre teams
- Coach, lead and manage for high performance
- Recruit, induct and train new team members
- Work with other support managers to ensure a consistent national approach
- Drive efficiency and continuous improvement processes
- Build relationships with team and stakeholders

**Qualifications and experience required**
- 5+ years’ experience in managing large teams
- Professional services experience preferred
- Knowledge of administrative processes and delivering efficient, professional support
- Proven people management skills, including ability to motivate and develop staff

**Skills and attributes desired**
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build strong, positive relationships
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking
- Commercial acumen and judgement
- Strong administration and organisation skills
- Collaborative and energetic
- Ability to make considered decisions and influence and negotiate with others
