**Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role**
**Manager Mental Health and Addictions**
**Taranaki Base Hospital, New Plymouth**
**Permanent, Fulltime**
**1.0 FTE (80 hours per fortnight)**
Reporting to the Group Director Operations Taranaki this position will provide both operational planning and leadership for their designated area of responsibility.
The Service Lead will oversee service delivery and the implementation of new strategies, contribute to agreed projects within the service and provide the day-to-day management of the service.
The Service Lead will be part of the team that collaborates with Senior Medical, Nursing and Allied Health Leaders to support, co-ordinate and monitor teams and outcomes within all of these services.
The Service Lead will also work in collaboration with relevant external stakeholders and other providers of their services to achieve agreed service goals and promote open communication between all stakeholders - both internal and external to Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Taranaki.
**Moū - About you**
To be successful it is important that you:
- Have experience post registration in a clinical management position preferably in mental health & addictions
- At least 10 years post grad qualifications /experience in leadership and /or management
