We are the leading fire protection specialists in New Zealand, we have been protecting people and property here for over 125 years.

The role is responsible for driving profitable sales within the market serviced by Wormald/ Johnson Controls, specifically within Fire Training sector.

Based in Auckland this role will work within the wider sales team focusing on the H&S Industry.

This role will own both the sales budget and facilitate/ manage the technicians calendar.

**What will the role include**:

- You will support your clients by providing technical/ competitive fire training proposals/ quotes
- Account manager a strong existing customer base
- Become a trusted partner with customers involved in Fire Training
- Be the point of contact for NZ - booking Fire Training Session throughout NZ
- Find and secure new business, successfully growing the company footprint in this area

**To be successful in this role, you will need**:

- A passion for the H&S industry
- Proven sales record and the confidence to hunt and secure
- An understanding of Workplace Health and Safety
- Inside sales / excellent phone manner
- Handheld operated Firefighting equipment
- Evacuation Procedures and Warden duties
- Microsoft Word, Excel and Power point skills
- Outlook calendar scheduling and time management
- You have a proven sales record and the confidence to hunt and secure new business

**How you will do it**:

- Ensure that all sales budgets and targets are met and exceeded.
- Ensure that all quotes are estimated and presented to a high standard.
- Ensure that all quotes have the required profit margin.
- Actively promote all aspects of the JCI business (Fire, Security, HVAC & Controls) when the opportunity arises.
- Personally ensure that all new developments in the market are kept abreast of opportunities.
- Complete in a timely manner all daily/weekly/monthly reporting and forecasting requirements.
- Ensure the highest ethical, technical and business standards are maintained in all activities.
