We are needing a **Trainee Design Engineer **to join our team

As our **Trainee Design Engineer **, you would be responsible for:

- The design of automatic fire sprinkler systems to New Zealand Standards and the associated processes and documentation required by the Standard
- The design of other specialist fire protections systems

As we are a national company the role may include a certain amount of travel from time to time when a base skill set has been established. This is an excellent opportunity to develop and advance your career in Engineering and the Fire Protection industry.

**Who are we looking for?**
- Diploma or Degree in either Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering
- Ability to problem solve technical issues
- AutoCAD draughting skills
- Good computer literacy skills
- Excellent communication skills in both written and oral forms
- Self-motivated team-player with good customer skills and with integrity
- Excellent time management, attention to details, and clear communication skills
