**He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role**

We are seeking expressions of interest for the Integrated Operations Centre Manager for Bay of Plenty Hauora a Toi on a fixed-term basis until the end of the year.

As the IOC Manager, you are responsible for the efficient and effective daily operational management of our Integrated Operations Centre operating across Whakatane and Tauranga Hospitals. A key focus will be improving timeliness of service, quality, and safety, of the healthcare journey and experience for patients.

**He korero mōu - About You**

The ideal applicant will have extensive health care experience in a leadership role ideally with a clinical background. You will have an understanding of patient acuity systems and management of capacity and demand.

You will need a passion for data and analytics to drive quality improvement alongside the ability to build constructive relationships and work in partnership with service leadership teams.

A post graduate qualification in the health field is required.

We also encourage knowledge of Tikanga, Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the principles of Kaupapa Māori as these are integral to the functioning of Health New Zealand.
