**About the role**

Reporting to the NZ Safety Manager, you have the chance to influence the organisation’s mindset and way forward in health and safety. You’ll contribute to the development and maintenance of core strategies and policy. A high-risk environment, this is an opportunity to develop experience with a major hazard facility.

**Duties**
- Collate, analyse and interpret health and safety data
- Advise and mentor managers and supervisors
- Support effective HS Committees
- Incident investigations and auditing

**Skills and experience**

A proven coach and mentor - comfortable communicating across all levels of the business, you’ll also be able to recognise opportunities, identify solutions and manage your time well. Accuracy and attention to detail are key along with experience in writing technical documents.
- Tertiary qualifications in occupational health and safety
- Understanding of HSNO regulations
- Experience in high-risk manufacturing
