The opportunity:
As an Information Security Analyst - Vulnerability Management, you will be contributing to protecting AIA's brand, reputation, financial position, regulatory standing, and strong commitment to customer satisfaction by ensuring the security and integrity of the information systems and cyber environment.
You will report to the Manager Information Security Governance, and will be responsible for providing analytical and security support to IT leadership, security governance, and driving vulnerability compliance as part of the enterprise security program.
About the role:
- Local NZ focal point of contact for all vulnerabilities governance and management.
- Manage and report on vulnerabilities from:
- Application penetration testing
- Code scanning, e.g., Veracode
- Infrastructure scanning
- Provides remediation guidance and prepares management reports to track remediation activities.
- Regular interaction with NZ Technology Management, Security Team, Incident Manager(s), vendors, project teams and Group Information Security to ensure timely resolution of all identified threats/vulnerabilities/alerts.
- Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by information security team management in order to meet reasonable operational and/or other requirements.
About you:
- Graduate with an IT Security related degree or two years of experience in IT, Project Management Office or Cyber Security gained in a large Financial Services organisation.
- Good understanding of security best practices.
- Excellent technical skills across Microsoft, Linux and Network technologies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Able to work independently and adapt quickly to change.
- Knowledge of common security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Excellent team working and collaborative skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Superior relationship management experience, with a proven ability to develop deep relationships at all levels internally and externally.
