**Te āhua o Te Tūrunga - The nature of the role**

ACC have an exciting new piece of work and are ramping up resources to assist with the planning and design phase. We are currently building new Salesforce teams and are looking for a Senior Information Security Analyst to assist with this work.

Reporting into the Chief Information Security Officer, the Senior Information Security Analyst will be responsible for the security of systems within our programme of work and any data processed within those systems.

Part of your role will also include building, leading, and empowering a cohesive, constructive, and supportive team. You will be supported by the wider security team which has well established policies and processes in place.

Key activities will include:

- Leading the development and on-going management of information security administrative procedures
- Managing and assisting with the auditing and monitoring of the security effectiveness of information and records management systems and policies
- Providing advice to project staff on information risk arising from their project’s intended processing of data, its exposure to users, and any vulnerabilities arising from security testing
- Coordinating ICT operational risk management with the aim to ensure that ICT operational risks are appropriately owned and managed across the business
- Building and maintaining mutually beneficial partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders sharing the right information at the right time to enable informed decision making.

**Ngā tino Pūkenga/Wheako - Skills & Experience Required**
- Demonstrated knowledge of IT security best practices and exposure to and/or qualifications in IT risk best practice methodologies, e.g. NIST, ISO 27000 series of international standards for Information Security Management
- Tertiary qualification or the certified equivalent work experience in the IT security field
- An understanding of Disaster Recovery from a systems availability against attack perspective
- Proven understanding of risk management, and information security practices in a corporate environment, including familiarity with National and International security Standards associated with technology and information systems, such as NZISM; as well as exposure to and/or qualifications in risk analysis techniques
- Strong understanding of solution architecture and ICT security policies and standards.
