**About the Company**:
This independent agency handles complaints about the actions and decisions of government agencies, undertakes investigations and inspections, and provides advice and guidance to ensure people in New Zealand are treated fairly by the state.

**About the Role**:
The Senior Analyst, Information Security is responsible for providing technical information and security advice and expertise to the Office. This role leads advice on information security matters by identifying, assessing, and monitoring risks and threats, and ensuring that the Office’s information systems are secure by implementing information and cyber security measures in order to protect the reputation and work of the office.

**Skills & Experience**:

- A relevant tertiary qualification in computer science and/or information security or following certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CRISC, or equivalent.
- At least five years in the information security and ICT industry in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of current IT security standards, practices, and methods including the NZISM and PSR.
- Good understanding of risk frameworks such as ISO
31000:2018.
