Job Title**:Cafe Manager**

Key tasks and responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day cafe operations
- Prepare daily/weekly work schedules for staff and find suitable replacements in case of staff absence
- Maintain updated records of daily, weekly and monthly revenues and expenses, ensure all cafe expenses are within budget and identify ways to reduce operational costs
- Responsible for quality assurance of food/drink and service
- Take inventory of cafe supplies and order new stock
- Receive delivered cafe supplies and ensure the correct items and quantities
- Resolve customer complaints
- Plan and add new menu items based on seasonality, customers preferences and feedback
- Make strategies to retain and attract customers
- Make plan and policy for functions and events
- Hire and onboard new wait staff and baristas, train staff
- Advise staff the best ways to resolve issues and deliver excellent customer service
- Make the workflow plan between front of house and back of house to ensure providing seamless service
- Oversee that all duties are completed correctly
- Enforce and monitor all health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Any other duties the employer may reasonably require the employee to perform

Pay rate: Minimum $29.66/ hour Maximum $35/ hour

Guaranteed hours of work per week: Minimum 40 hours, permanent full-time

Requirements for the job:

- 3 years of cafe experience, including at least 1 years of experience in management role
- Full time availability
- No criminal record
