Scientists at the Brain Health Research Centre are undertaking cutting-edge, internationally recognised research into the workings of the brain in health and disease, and are developing new treatments for neurological disorders.
**_The role/Te mahi_**
As an Assistant Research Fellow, you will support the research and outreach activities of our Centre by documenting and communicating scientific ideas and activities.
Some key tasks include:
- Assisting with the collection of data related to Centre achievements and outcomes.
- Assisting with the writing and preparation of publicity and marketing materials in support of the services provided by the central Marketing and Communications team(s).
- Assisting with preparation, formatting, and design of printed materials where specialist skills are required.
- Assisting with the coordination and support of outreach activities within the Centre.
**_Your skills and experience/Kā pūkeka me kā wheako_**
- A postgraduate biomedical science qualification.
- Proven experience in high quality scientific writing.
- Knowledge of content management systems as well as a variety of social media platforms.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to think logically, understand complex ideas and data and communicate scientific concepts to various audiences.
