General Paediatrician Respiratory Focus

Are you a skilled and compassionate General Paediatrician
with expertise in respiratory medicine? Are you passionate about providing
exceptional care to children and making a positive impact on their lives? We
are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated individual to join our esteemed
medical team as a General Paediatrician with a Respiratory Focus. This role is
0.8 FTE (32 hours per week) with an on-call component.

Mō te tūnga | About the role

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide comprehensive medical care to

paediatric patients, with a particular focus on respiratory conditions.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of
respiratory disorders, including asthma, bronchitis, pneumonia, cystic
fibrosis, and other related conditions.
- Conduct thorough evaluations, perform diagnostic
tests, and interpret results to develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications, administer
immunizations, and provide preventive care measures.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary
team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.
- Educate patients, families, and
caregivers about respiratory conditions, treatment options, and preventive
measures.
- Monitor patient progress, make necessary
adjustments to treatment plans, and provide follow-up care as needed.
- Participate
in medical research, contribute to publications, and stay up-to-date with the
latest advancements in paediatric respiratory medicine.Ngā
