We are looking for 2 hard working individuals to join our busy team at our Kebab shop at Red Beach Auckland.
- Set up workstation for Daily operation.
- Check to ensure all equipment is operational.
- Assist chef or other cook to check stock level, make stock order, check deliveries.
- Check fridge and freezer temperature (Daily).
- Ensure all ingredients are stocked above safety level to ensure it is sufficient for daily operation.
- Clean and prepares raw ingredient including marinating, freezing and preserve foods.
- Cook food according to order, check quality of dish made to ensure standard are meet. including but not limited to entre, main and snack/finger food.
- Adjusts food items to accommodate guests with allergies or specific diet concerns.
- Prepare plate before placing food and add garnish as final touch.
- Monitor all kitchen staff on cooking procedure to ensure all dishes are cooked according to standard (Daily).
- Provide training to new kitchen staff when required.
- Create new menu if required.
- Cleans up after business hours.
Who we are looking for
Cook:
- Minimum 1-year experiences with Turkish cuisine cooking experiences
- Sound knowledge on Turkish ingredients, spices, and cooking methods
- Relevant cookery qualification is an advantage but not necessary.
- Honest, reliable, and hardworking be ready to run the extra mile for the company.
- Customer oriented and friendly personality
- Attention to details, be able to work under pressure and patience with clients.
- must be able to work under pressure, alone as well as a team.

- Employment type: Full time permanent
- Hourly rate: $ 27.76 $ 30.00 /hour gross, depending on your experience.
- Hours per week: A minimum of 30 hours per week, no more than 60 hours per week depending on roster.
- Working hour: Monday to Saturday, 9:00 A.M to 10:00 P.M, depending on roster.
- Immediate starts available.
- Friendly staff and team to support you.
- Basic training is provided.
