**About the role**:
As our Account Manager you will work with food and beverage manufacturers in the Eastern Waikato/Bay of Plenty/Coromandel regions, to enhance operational efficiency, food safety and product quality. You will utilise the vast resources within Ecolab to tailor cleaning and sanitising programs, understand operational efficiency objectives and help reduce the total cost of operations for our customers. You will conduct customer training sessions to ensure our products and equipment are being used effectively, efficiently, and safely.

Critical to the role will be your energy and ability to drive sales and business development opportunities, coupled with a tremendous amount of initiative, excelling at identifying and seizing opportunities for Ecolab’s products within the dairy, brewing, beverage, protein and food processing industries. Success in this role will see you working collaboratively across functional groups and stakeholders paired with the ability to work independently at times to manage your own portfolio to deliver results.

Based in the Waikato/Bay of Plenty area, this position offers variety, scope and development potential while working alongside well-known and trusted brands.

**To be successful in this role you will ideally have**:

- Great interpersonal skills to build strong working relationships at all business levels.
- A passion for problem-solving and being able to work an issue through to resolution.
- The ability to understand the technical and engineering concepts of both our customers’ and Ecolab’s businesses.
- A tertiary qualification in Dairy Science, Food Science or relevant food/beverage processing experience is preferable.
- An ability to identify new opportunities and sell add-on solutions for customers to grow business and achieve win/win outcomes.
- A valid driver’s license is a pre-requisite.
