Tester/test Analyst Opportunities

You will work on a number of key Tait projects and be involved in test design, automation, execution and maintenance of manual and automated test suites. Tait products and solutions end up in diverse and often harsh environments so we do some pretty heavy testing

You will get the opportunity to:

- be responsible for test design, execution, regression testing and exploratory testing;
- set up test tools and test environments according to the provided test specifications;
- undertake development, setup and maintenance of automated systems for both hardware and software;
- report on test results and preparing issue reports.

Our Tester/Test Analyst opportunities are based in our Head Office in Christchurch, NZ, and will attract remuneration in the range of $65k to $100k per annum, and be full-time, 40 hours per week.

**Skills & Experience**
- exposure to commercial software testing for 2 + years
- a relevant tertiary qualification
- existing programming experience at an intermediate level (ideally Python or any Object orientated programming language)
- relevant experience in designing, maintaining and executing manual and automated test suites and exploratory testing
- embedded software experience
- demonstrate proven exposure to Agile methodologies

It would also be an advantage to have experience in:

- test frameworks and continuous integration systems
- communication systems
- IP networking
- Linux operating system

You will be a tester by nature who:

- Is a strong communicator, working effectively with colleagues to identify and resolve issues
- Has the desire to share and learn from colleagues whilst working in high performing test team.
- Is a flexible team player with an inquisitive mind, strong problem solving and analysis skills who is eager to learn and able to switch context rapidly.
