As a Test Analyst with us, you will take ownership of your testing stream, working closely with IT teams and external partners to produce robust software solutions. You will design, develop, and execute both manual and automated test plans, ensure comprehensive coverage, and play an active role in requirements discussions to build quality from the ground up.

This is a fixed term role at 20 hours per week until August 2026 with the role based in our IT Office in Burnside, Christchurch.

In addition to the above you will:
- Managing and preparing test environments, data, and tools for assigned projects.- Maintaining and updating detailed test scripts for complex, integrated systems.- Creating and executing test strategies, and reporting on testing deliverables.- Maintaining a defect register and tracking issues through to resolution.- Ensuring adherence to risk, audit, and ISTQB-aligned quality standards.- Tracking and reporting on quality metrics, risks, and progress.- Updating and refining test practices and supporting the ongoing development of your team.- Providing specialist test advice and supporting colleagues with technical challenges.

We’re looking for someone with:
- Tertiary qualification in IT or similar- Relevant Testing qualifications (e.g., ISTQB) OR equivalent industry experience- Experience in both manual and automated testing; solid hands-on background with tools like TOSCA, Selenium, Playwright, or Webdriver highly regarded- Proven experience with complex, integrated systems- Superior analytical and interpersonal skills- Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity, adapt to change, and remain calm under pressure- Exceptional leadership skills.
