You'll take ownership of your role and effectively manage the human, physical, technical, and environmental elements to ensure he is set up for every occasion. We encourage and consider transferable skills and experience gained from outside of work e.g., cultural, community work, sports, volunteering, or a comparable role in a different sector or industry.

**Tell us about any of the following in your cover**:

- Your knowledge and experience, or willingness to learn about Te Tiriti, Tikanga, Te Reo and Te Ao Māori.
- How you demonstrate, encourage or support diversity and inclusion in or outside of work.

- Where you've demonstrated customer centricity, everyone is a customer mentality.
- Your experience supporting a CE, Director, GM or Executive and how you made a difference
- Understanding of the machinery of government and related processes and procedures.

We need someone who can consistently anticipate the CE's needs by staying one step ahead, remain calm under pressure and problem solve and manage challenges as they arise. You'll have:

- Experience providing advice, guidance, and support to others in the CE's office or organisation, in a tactful and discreet manner.
- Sound judgement, common sense, be proactive but understand the need to check and question sometimes to ensure the right outcome.

- Expert technical skills when it comes to office systems, setting up meetings and technology e.g. video conferencing, MS Teams, syncing diaries and phones, using Microsoft office and picking up any other technology
