As the Procurement and Packaging Manager, you will be leading and optimising the packaging and consumables processes within ZIWI, ensuring efficient, cost-effectiveness, and quality in the delivery of packaged and consumable products. You will manage the project tendering process with consumable suppliers, ensuring we are able to optimise on our pricing.

Ideally you will have a background in a similar role within a medium to large organisation, and able to demonstrate positive results in previous roles. Key functional responsibilities that will require a demonstration of skill will include; supplier relationship management, packaging formats expertise, cost management, supply chain optimisation and risk management. You will be looking for a role that is truly collaborative across all divisions with a view to getting ZIWI to where we are looking to be

**Key responsibilities**:

- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers that align with our quality standards and sustainability goals
- Develop customized packaging solutions tailored to the unique needs of Ziwi Limited's pet food products, considering factors like freshness and shelf life.
- Work closely with our supply chain team to ensure smooth procurement and delivery of packaging materials.

**Key requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in packaging engineering, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in packaging management within the food or pet food industry.
- Strong understanding of packaging materials, technologies, and regulations.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
