We are seeking to appoint an energized, passionate and experienced Food Safety and Quality specialist into our business. This position will work closely with a newly appointed VA Manager and support the team proactively assisting to proactively manage our relationships with suppliers.

Working closely with our R&D, procurement and production teams, the Food Safety and Quality Specialist will ensure specifications for raw materials are being met, report and support with resolution for non conformances in a timely manner.

If you can demonstrate a strong working knowledge of Food Safety and Quality processes, a strong knowledge of procurement best practice as well as the ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships, we want to hear from you

**Key responsibilities**:

- Assist with the implementation of a new vendor approval and review process.
- Assist to implement, review and maintain the annual raw material testing program for ZIWI.
- Provide regular data and reporting for Supplier performance reviews.
- Support new innovation where new ingredients and or supplier will be introduced.
- Managing stock inventory for ingredients

**Key requirements**:

- Food Safety and HACCP
- Previous experience in a procurement role essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels
- Strong attention to detail is a must
- Technical understanding and practical commercial experience
- A collaborative hands-on approach and can positively influence change across all levels
- Experience in Continuous Improvement would be advantageous
