**About the role**

Due to an internal promotion, we have an exciting new opportunity in our Information Services Team for a Helpdesk Analyst.

Working as a Help Desk Analyst, you will be the first point of contact providing IT support to NZBS users around the country. You will be supporting a range of different IT solutions which often are critical to business operations. Your focus will be ensuring that our solutions work day-to-day. From time to time, you will also be involved in infrastructure improvement projects.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Remote support of 900+ staff across New Zealand from standard office apps to specialised Lab equipment and processes.
- First level technical troubleshooting of issues and logging correct and relevant information in our ticketing system.
- Assigning incoming tickets to appropriate teams
- Maintaining system related documentation.
- Some system administration, i.e., creation/disabling user accounts

**About you**
- Sound knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office 365 and Teams.
- Sound understanding in PC hardware, remote computing, networking, telephony, printing, and security concepts.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, able to ask the right the questions.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Able to self-manage workload and responsibilities.
- Able to identify priorities and escalate when needed.
