Our client is a leading Financial Advice Provider with insurance broking operations across the North and South Islands of New Zealand. The role is based in Auckland East.

**About the role**:
In this role, you will manage a portfolio of domestic client portfolios ensuring that effective client relationships are built and maintained utilising the client's underwriting facility within underwriting delegations and authorities. This is also a new business-focused role whereby you will be generating leads.

**Responsibilities of the role**:

- Support the team leader to lead the domestic team
- Manage new business effectively maximising referrals
- Manages renewals maintaining solid client relationships
- Processing of new business, endorsements and renewal transactions
- Actively promote other areas of the business to be a one-stop shop for all insurance
- Develop and maintain strong relationships internally and externally with underwriters and insurers
- Mentor other members of the team

**About you**:

- Level 5 Certificate in Fire & General, or currently have a study plan underway
- Proven knowledge of domestic insurance products
- Broking experience in Fire & General insurance, essential
- Sales and growth mindset
